Abstract
:
With the rapid development of information and communication
technologies, which is one of the peculiarities of our time, special attention is paid to a new
approach to the educational process and its organization, using its opportunities. The 21st
century is a century of high technologies, and our modern youth is not only in line with the
spirit of the times, but also in line with the development of the electronic world. In this
article, the author gives examples of the use of information and communication
technologies in the teaching and learning of foreign languages, as well as examples from
world experience.

The popularity of the Internet and computer technologies among young people and in
society as a whole has created serious grounds for the successful integration of ICT into
educational process. When teaching foreign languages an important place is given to ICT,
which allows the introduction of new technologies, new techniques, shifting the emphasis to
the independent work of a student, making the training diverse. This situation increases the
effectiveness of the classroom work and makes the independent work of students more
efficient. There is an opportunity to use the Internet as a teaching tool both for training all
types of speech activity, and for research work and education. Sometimes we face the
problem that the number of hours and special textbooks allocated to learning a foreign
language is not enough to master the lesson. Modern information and communication
technologies (ICT) and Internet resources play an important role in solving these problems.
ICT and Internet resources can increase the effectiveness of education, including motivation
for language learning, to increase students' interest in learning. The ability of teachers to
create their own e-learning resources through ICT is important in the development of this
field.
It is important to note that if a student is fluent in his/her native language and has
the ability to follow the rules, his/her existing linguistic experience will help him/her to
learn another foreign language. Helps to master grammatical concepts and terms of the
language faster. In this way, it is easier to learn another language by learning the
similarities and differences between languages. Comparison of linguistic phenomena at the
phonetic, lexical, grammatical level provides material that enriches the field of linguistics.
Therefore, comparative analysis between languages is important. This not only helps to
master the new material in a foreign language, but also to make it more interesting for
students. If a student knows the rules and basic concepts of one language, he is confident
