interest and the motivation to learn more. In this regard, it is important for the teacher to 
explain the differences and similarities between the languages in the course of the lesson, 
especially the use of modern information technology tools, electronic resources to make the 
lesson easier for students to master and comparative study of lexical and grammatical 
phenomena of language provides a great opportunity to perform various exercises. In 
addition, the growing number of specialized language learning sites in recent years not only 
facilitates the process of mastering a complex and tedious language learning - lexical units, 
but also with the enjoyment of entertaining game exercises using these resources. it is 
necessary to pay attention to the fact that in a sense it provides spiritual nourishment, as 
well as the opportunity to relax. Examples of such electronic dictionaries are 
www.lingualeo.ru and others. However, each word in such a dictionary can be re-presented 
to the user many times, which means that when learning it, the correct spelling of the word, 
the lexical pronunciation by the representatives of the language-speaking people will be 
remembered. 
The introduction of information and communication technologies in the educational 
process is becoming increasingly important, especially in the teaching and learning of 
foreign languages. New information technologies offer great opportunities for teaching 
foreign languages, play an important role in obtaining quality knowledge in science and 
increase the effectiveness of education. It is well known that in accordance with the 
requirements of the time, no lessons in this subject should be given without the presentation 
of the teacher or students. ICT tools are computer technology, tape recorders, books, video 
equipment, electronic whiteboards, which allow you to save time and learn more and more 
effectively. Today, young people do not have to spend time searching and browsing for 
more information, but instead use the Internet to save it. The application of information and 
communication technologies in education has, in modern conditions, an increasingly 
significant impact on the quality and competitiveness of the national education system. The 
integration of Russian education into the world educational system is connected with the 
observance of the fundamental international standards requirements. World practices in the 
field of new technologies and forms of teaching, methods of educational activities managing 
and the quality of the learning process, the creation of electronic educational resources are 
widely used in teaching foreign languages in Russian universities. National standards of the 
ICT use are coordinated with international standards and regulations. At the lessons of 
foreign languages, one should integrate the linguistic, sociocultural and communicative 
approaches, taking into consideration teaching a foreign language for specific purposes. To 
achieve these goals, it is very important to use the whole potential of Internet resources. 
Additionally, the following impacts seem to be the most obvious ones when using ICT 
to support foreign language teaching:

The possibility to adapt easily the teaching materials according to circumstances, 
learner‘s needs and response;

ICT allows to react upon and enables the use of recent/daily news, it offers access to 
authentic materials on the web;
