representation as stimulus. The symbols and problems they do not yet understand will 
be carried by identifying the pattern from the symbols that: are regular and the 
problems that have been studied. 
Reading aloud clearly and interestingly is an artistic skill. Not all the native 
speakers of a language are able to read aloud effectively. Reading aloud is therefore 
not easy to justify as an end in itself in teaching a foreign language. It is, however, an 
effective practice and test of a student's ability to read in general. 
In reading aloud, the student is confronted with written sentences that he has not 
spoken immediately before and with sentences which he has never spoken but whose 
elements he can speak. This practice becomes genuine reading since he must grasp 
the patterns he is to speak at some normal speed from the incomplete clues of their 
written representation.
