The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia and its Masters Swim Team is proud to host the 9th annual Lox and Bagel Swim Meet. The JCCNV pool is a 25 meter indoor pool, six lanes with non-turbulent lane ropes. The entire pool is available for warm-ups from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM. ENTRIES: Must be postmarked: Monday, November 7, 2005.
“THERE WILL BE NO DECK ENTRIES.” A maximum of 5 events may be swum.
Eligibility requirement: You must be a registered USMS, 18 years or older. FEES: $4.50 per event plus a $5.00 meet surcharge.
Make checks payable to: JCCNV RELAYS: Relays will be deck seeded. All relay cards/entries must be turned in by 1:00pm day of the meet.
RELAY FEES: $8.00 per relay team per relay event. RULES: Current USMS rules apply. A rulebook will be on hand. AWARDS: Custom Medals will be given to the first place finishers in each age/sex group with ribbons awarded for second and third.
Team trophies will be awarded in 2 categories, large and small team with the most points. Large team; 11 or more swimmers/Small team; 10 or less swimmers. SEEDING: Events will be seeded from slow to fast, women and men combined. “No Time” entries will be seeded in the slowest heat. RESULTS: Copies of the results will be mailed out the following week after the meet. Team results will be available after the meet or by emailing Matthew Alvin at MATTA@JCCNV.org CONCESSIONS: Snacks and beverages will available during the meet. The 400 Freestyle will be re-seeded upon positive check-in. Check-In for this event will be approximately 30 minutes prior to start of the event.
