Plateau of latent potential: A period in which you’re putting in work, but not see-
ing the expected results. You’re accumulating potential, but it hasn’t been released
yet.
• Example: You might think, “I’ve been running every day for a month, so why
can’t I see any change in my body.” Your effort wasn’t wasted, though, it was
just being stored. You’ll find that if you stick with the habit, you’ll soon break
through and see results.
