The topicality of the research is explained with the following factors:
Competences are developed in action and for the sake of the future profession. In these conditions the learning process acquires new meaning, it transforms to the process of learning/teaching, to the process of developing knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences with an aim of achieving professionally and socially significant competences of the first-year students in Uzbekistan.
The object is the communicative competence of the first-year students.
The subject of the exploration is methods proposed as to develop it.
The aim of the research is to propose theoretically and as well as practically the effective ways of teaching communicative competence of the students of the foundational year.
Tasks of our research:
To study and define the significance of teaching communicative competence for the first-year students;
To learn, analyze the approaches, viewpoints and researches done in this field and generalize them;
To define how the innovative strategies of teaching the first-year students are implemented at the lessons;
To learn and analyze the importance and effect of teaching communicative competence to the first-year students.
Scientific novelty of the research:
The conceptual provisions of communicative competence have been developed, which allow us to consider this category as a pedagogical one, which determines the system of extra-functional support for the activities of university education;
The system of communicative competence will be characterized, including structural components (intercultural perception, social perception) and functional components (informational, behavioral with language learning styles, motivational);
Substantiated and experimentally confirmed the model of formation of communicative competence, introduced into the pedagogical process of the first year students;
Revealed communicative competence, which is, in fact, an intangible resource for the effective professional activity of the 1st year students, providing a competitive advantage using special types of main methods, exercises and tasks.
