Expected value of Chi-square at 5 % level= 5.991 
Since  the  observed  value  is  less  than  expected  value  at  1%  level  &  5  %  level.  The  framed 
hypothesis  should  be  accepted.  Therefore,  it  can  be  concluded  that  there  is  no  significant 
difference between the job satisfaction and age of the employees. 
In order to find out the relationship between job satisfaction and income of the employees in all 
categories of BHEL Uttarakhand. The distribution of satisfied and dissatisfied respondents in all 
categories of employees is presented below
