Adding high level of sugar in different kinds of products is causing controversy among people. Some people claim that there must be fixed tax on them. While others disagree with this opinion, I think it would have more positive outcomes of the pre-determined tax.
On the one hand, some people are in an agreement about not to fixing any tax on sugary products. They believe that there is already enough taxes for other aspects of living. Therefore, it seems to them that if there is special taxes on foods and drinks which is actual human needs, that may result in financial burden for people's budgets. In addition, once companies pay high amount of taxes to government, they reduce the amount of stuff they are producing as they can't afford to pay for them. Consequently, they set high prices for their products.To some who are a huge fan of eating sweets and fizzy drinks, that would not be so preferable as they purchase these goods regularly.
On the other hand, many people consider that taxes are best way of preventing some detrimental consequences, the most significant of which is an hazardous impact on the general health of the public. That is to say, high level of sugar can help to make obesity as a common disease within community.Poor nutritional value and sugar can be prime reasons of illnesses such as:cardiovascular diseases and high blood pressure. Moreover, as the number of ill people escalate, health service dispensaries also face with several burdens, the shortage of available rooms for the ill, the amount of drugs they provide, the lack of experienced staff,etc. Thus, I think there are significantly more drawbacks of not to fixing proper taxes on sugary products.
In conclusion, even though people already have a myriad of taxes to pay for appliances, this kind of taxes can eradicate risks of health issues.
