Internet Technology Capacity-Building Grant Program
PURPOSE
To assist small, community-based, non-profit organizations PCHF understands these organizations almost always operate with small budgets that primarily support the direct services they provide to the community. Furthermore, PCHF understands that funds for necessary administrative services, including computer equipment and related software and training, are often hard to raise. The result is these organizations often function with donated computer equipment, or those purchased long ago and now outdated and inefficient. Consequently, service delivery suffers.
As a means of insuring the social investment PCHF makes in these community-based organizations, the Board of Directors has approved the creation if IT Capacity-Building Grant Program. This grant program is a specialized matching incentive to help the PCHF small-budget grantees modernize their technology capability to assist in the improvement of their service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
