5.5 Comparisons of general characteristics be-
tween fertile and infertile males
In table 4-6 some environmental and social factors
which were suspected to have an effect on male fertility
were summarized and compared between fertile and
infertile males. It was found that alcohol drinking,
smoking; surgical treatment for varicocele, drug history
and heavy work was more in infertile males which
indicates the effect of these factors on male fertility.
