Izvleček
Do 2/3 poškodovancev utrpi poškodbo obraza. Poškodba je lahko izolirana na obraz in ustno votlino,
velikokrat pa je priključena ostalim spremljajočim poškodbam. Vloga zdravstvene nege je v prepoznavi
nujnih stanj in takojšnjem strokovnem ukrepanju ter sodelovanje pri oskrbi vseh ostalih poškodb.
Pomemben je individualni pristop in celostna obravnava, saj se moramo zavedati, da je obraz
komunikacijski center telesa in, da vsaka sprememba prizadene psihofizično integriteto posameznika.
