Dear Prof. Erkaboev:
Your Manuscript IJASE-2021-123 entitled " Influence of a quantizing magnetic field on the Fermi energy oscillations in two-dimensional semiconductors", has been given careful consideration by our reviewers. It has been decided that it would merit publication, provided that MINOR REVISIONS were made in accordance with the enclosed comments.
Please keep in mind, reviews are confidential communications provided to the author(s) for the sole reason of giving feedback regarding technical and other publishing aspects of the manuscript. Hence, sharing these reviews is an inappropriate use of information.
To facilitate a timely publication, your revised manuscript should be uploaded as soon as possible. If you are unable to submit your revision within the time limit, it may be necessary to treat it as a new submission.
Thank you for your submission to our journal. I look forward to receiving your revised manuscript.
I believe that all these remarks must be corrected. After this the paper can be publish.
Some remarks as follow:
1. The base monograph connected with this problem is "Magnetic oscillations in metals" by D.Shonberg (1986). I not have find the reference on it but some formulas are from this book.
2. Temperature is absent on the figure 3
3. Field is absent on figure 4.
4. Magnetic field in the text is named as "H" but it named "B" on the figures.
5. The reference on the paper Kochman and others: Journal is "Semiconductors".
Reviewer #2
The authors have done a lot of work on investigating the effects of quantizing magnetic field and temperature on Fermi energy oscillations in nanoscale semiconductor materials.
The theoretical part of the work described well, which affects the quality of the research. The figures shows good comparison between theoretical and experimental data.
However, authors are encouraged to make some improvements, like:
1. To mark the lines on Fig.3
2. Relocate the Fig.6 from conclusions
Editor’s comment
Abstract:
Should include what have been achieved (e.g. propose a method or create a formula?) in this study.
Comparison of Theory with Experimental Results:
1.The 1st paragraph should be moved to the “Introduction” section.
2. Should interpret the results obtained in this study.
3. Should discuss the contribution of this study, e.g. make comparisons with related work, make references to similar studies done previously, discuss generalizability of the study results, etc.
4. Should adopt other method(s) (e.g. statistical analysis) to make comparison of theory with experimental results instead of using Fig. 6 only.
Conclusions:
Write conclusions in paragraph(s) instead of using bullet points to list conclusions.
These changes are minor and do not affect the quality of the work.
It is recommended for publication
