Family and social security in Kosovo
A conference, which was organized by the ASF-research project “Family in Kosovo Revisited” in Prishtina
The ASF (Austrian Science Fund)-research project “Family in Kosovo Revisited” (Karl Kaser, Elife Krasniqi, Tahir Latifi and Carolin Leutloff-Grandits) organized the international conference “Family and Social Security in Kosovo” held in the conference hotel “Sirius” from May 2 to 3, 2013. The aims were to present results of the research project, on the one hand, and to point to problems of the cohesion of the Albanian-Kosovar family, which might endanger the traditional social safeguard by the family in the near future, on the other hand. More than hundred attendees had been listening the discussions, and several TV stations reported.
