the National Instructional Materials Accessibility Standard.

National Instructional Materials Accessibility Standard (NIMAS): the standards defined in Federal law to
require states and LEAs to provide access to instructional materials to persons who are blind or who have print
disabilities.

Native Language: language normally spoken by child’s parents, or thefirst or primary language of an individual.
