can be good sometimes if you do it for a good reason.
Using repetition, you improve comprehension.
You can use synonyms to repeat important parts of your
ideas.
The examiner can’t read your mind, so repeating yourself
sometimes reminds the examiner about what you are talking
about!

Several studies have proven that global warming is already having a
negative impact on human life. Firstly, it has been shown to affect crops
worldwide, leading to significant shortages in some cases. Secondly,
global temperature increases have compromised food production in some
regions, which has caused inflation and a deterioration of the quality of
life of the people affected. Thirdly, rising temperatures are causing
unnecessary stress, and in some cases conflict, within already vulnerable
sectors of the world population.
