We are using a more general synonym here to write about university
education. Even though “education” is more general than “university
education,” “tertiary education,” and “higher education,” we don’t need to
specify this time, as we have already mentioned it clearly in the essay.
Using some slightly more general terms once you’ve specified is a great
way of adding variety to your writing and showing the examiner your
