Base decisions about performance pay or
bonuses on fair and equitable criteria.

Avoid bonus schemes that encourage
undesirable behaviour.

Do not pay less than the living wage (in the
UK in July 2013 it was £7.45 per hour
outside London compared with £6.19 for
the statutory minimum wage).
