FEATURES OF TRAINING OF CONSULTATION OF THE TEENS 
ON SMOKING AS IMPORTANT PRACTICAL SKILL OF GP 
DOCTORS.

Aim of the research. Training of carrying out of effective consultation of 
smoker teens as important practical skill of the general practitioner on 10 
monthly courses in a course «Retraining and improvements of professional skill 
GPs» at the deportment of «Ambulatory Medicine» TashPMI. 
Materials and methods: For the last year 2015-2016 58 GPs from SVP 
and city polyclinics were trained in the course. There are many kinds of 
consultations of smoker teens on practice and all of them are suitable on the 
certain cases. Trainees were taught methods of consultation of teens and role 
plays were recorded. That video was evaluated by evaluation list and 
consultation card. 
The results: before the training was established we asked trainees to 
evaluate their skills on problem solving process and in 2 weeks of training time 
we asked them to evaluate their skills again. Subjectively as a trainer and from 
the reflection of their evaluation lists we could see that their ability is improved 
dramatically – 74% unsatisfactory, 21% satisfactory and 5% as good were on 
the first survey, and non unsatisfactory, 54% satisfactory, 36% good and 10% 
excellent were on the second one. There were several parts of the consultation 
on the evaluation list (greeting of the patient, barriers, body language and so 
on.).
