THE DEADLIEST SIN

The Roman Catholic Church recently came up with a new list of politically correct, ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY "7 deadly sins".  Has Al Gore been lobbying the Vatican?

They replaced their old list of "mortal sins": pride, envy, gluttony, greed, lust, wrath and sloth with polluting, genetic engineering, obscene riches (too bad... Bill Gates won't enter Pearly Gates), taking drugs, abortion, pedophilia (I'm tempted to comment on this one, since sarcasm ISN'T on the list... but I'll behave) and social injustice.

I got news for The Pope, The RELIGION OF Rome, and every theologian:

EVERY SIN IS DEADLY:

The soul that sins, IT SHALL DIE (Ezekiel 18:20).

God's Word DOESN'T CLASSIFY sins into "mortal" and "venial", better or worse. That was INVENTED by man:

SIN IS SIN.

ALL sin causes death.

Just look at Adam and Eve. By those warped standards, WHAT DID THEY DO that was so evil? Bite into a pomegranate?

They DISOBEYED God. Their disobedience ("SEPARATION" FROM Him) brought death and corruption.

We're still dealing with the awful consequences of their "venial" sin.

It took NO LESS THAN God's own Blood to cleanse that "venial" sin (Romans 5:9; Hebrews 9:22).

Anything we do OUTSIDE OF God (OUTSIDE OF Love) IS SIN.

EVERY SIN IS DEADLY. Hence, every sin is "mortal" (Romans 6:23)

That's the BAD news.

The GOOD News is EVERY SIN - no matter HOW deadly -- CAN BE WASHED AWAY (1 John 1:7).

If it's washed away, IT'S GONE... FOREVER!

And if it's gone, it's NO LONGER DEADLY, since it's been TOTALLY REMOVED (Hebrews 9:12, 26; 10:14).

THE ONLY Way to wash those sins away is thru the Blood that Jesus poured out for you on the cross.

If you want your sins WASHED AWAY, YOUR RECORD SQUEAKY CLEAN, YOU MUST INVITE JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART:

YOU MUST RECEIVE HIM AS LORD, SAVIOR and God (John 1:12).

SO, ULTIMATELY, THE ONLY SIN THAT IS TRULY "DEADLY", THE ONLY SIN THAT WILL SEND ANYONE TO HELL, IS REJECTING JESUS CHRIST (Matthew 12:31-32).

It's NOT receiving the Salvation He offers you FREELY.

Every sin is deadly, but the "deadliest" sin, the one sin that cannot be removed, is FAILING TO RECEIVE THE ONE AND ONLY "SIN REMOVER":

Romans 6:29:

“For the wages of sin is death; but THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Salvation (JESUS) is A GIFT.  But, like all gifts, He must be RECEIVED.

MIXED MESSAGE

When Jesus and His Apostles preached the Gospel, there was NO AMBIGUITY WHATSOEVER:

Jesus had TAKEN AWAY the sin OF THE WHOLE WORLD! (John 1:29: Hebrews 9:26)

Therefore, forgiveness of sins and Salvation ARE A GIFT that cannot be lost or taken away... EVER!

Eternal Life IS Eternal and CANNOT BE LOST... for ANY reason.

Salvation is RECEIVING Jesus into our hearts and COMPLETELY TRUSTING that He removed ALL OUR SINS FOREVER, AS FAR AS THE EAST IS FROM THE WEST (Psalm 103:12).

Then religion came along, and TOTALLY OBSCURED that incomparable Message.

Religion breeds FEAR, NOT FAITH.

ALL forms of religion are BASED ON FEAR.

Religion started FABRICATING "conditions" for Salvation.

It invented doctrines like "purgatory" - A TOTAL ABOMINATION if there ever was one! –

This false and evil doctrine suggests that Jesus' Sacrifice IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO REMOVE ALL SIN FOR ALL TIME. (Psalm 103:12; Isaiah 1:18)

Therefore, we must "DO TIME" in "purgatory", INDEFINITELY, TO PAY for "residual" sins OURSELVES.

Can someone please tell me WHERE is the "Good News" in THAT false, BLASPHEMOUS doctrine?

There are NO “RESIDUAL” SINS. Sin has been OBLITERATED by the Immaculate Blood of Jesus.

It concocted THE LIE that sins are classified into "mortal" and "venial", when God has told us that "THE WAGES OF SIN (of all sin) IS DEATH"  (Romans 6:23).

The Good News is THAT JESUS REMOVED ALL SIN FOR ALL TIME AND NO LONGER COUNTS SINS AGAINST US (2 Corinthians 5:19; 1 John 3:5).

Therefore, IN Christ Jesus, we have (present tense) ETERNAL Life.

However, that FALSE and MIXED MESSAGE is not confined only to 4th century Christianism, but to 21st century religion as well.

Other "conditions" have since been added to the simple Message of TOTAL Salvation FOREVER: such as Sabbath keeping, Torah keeping, 10 Commandment keeping, denominational worship, denomination founder worship, dietary laws and circumcision.

Tragically, we have A SIMILARLY BLASPHEMOUS, PERVERTED, MIXED "gospel" being preached from most so-called "evangelical" pulpits:

We have "evangelical" preachers saying on the one hand that Salvation is by faith only, NO WORKS INVOLVED.

Then they turn around and say that if you're homosexual, you're going to hell.

Apparently, Jesus REMOVED ALL SIN FOR ALL TIME, EXCEPT homosexuality.

Apparently, then, the sin of homosexuality HAS MORE POWER TO DAMN, than Jesus has power TO SAVE (perish the VERY thought).

If that were the case, homosexuality WOULD BE GOD.

There's even one MAJOR, SUPERSTAR "evangelical" preacher who FALSELY PROPHESIED that God "would destroy ALL homosexuals".

My Bible says Jesus came TO SAVE SINNERS - ALL SINNERS (1 Timothy 1:15).

That He came NOT to condemn, but TO SAVE (John 3:17).

That He wants ALL MEN to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4).

Well, what about 1 Corinthians 6:9-10?

THERE ARE 10 OTHER SINS mentioned in that Scripture, that hypocritical “evangelicals” NEVER PREACH AGAINST.

They SINGLE OUT homosexuals!

AAs if THAT ONE SIN was MIGHTIER than Jesus.

THE VERY NEXT VERSE (verse 11) clearly says that's what some of us WERE (past tense) BEFORE we came to Christ.  "But you WERE WASHED, you were sanctified, you were JUSTIFIED in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

BUT NOW, IN CHRIST, REGARDLESS of how we act ON THE OUTSIDE, we're SAVED FOREVER on the inside.

Secular history documents that homosexuality and bisexuality WERE RAMPANT in Jesus' time, and He NEVER condemned gays or ANY OTHER sinner.

He pointedly said that WHOEVER came to Him, He would in NO WISE reject (John 6:37).

But false, modern "evangelical" Christianism FALSELY TEACHES THAT “God HATES gays” and that He WILL REJECT THEM.

NOT ONLY IS THAT A LIE that CONTRADICTS Jesus, WHERE is the "good news" IN THAT?

And NO, I’m NOT PROMOTING homosexuality. God forbid. IT IS SIN. It is NOT, however, the “unpardonable” sin.

Jesus can CLEANSE the sin of homosexuality JUST LIKE HE CAN CLEANSE ADULTERY, FORNICATION, STEALING, LYING, COVETING, LUST, GREED, OR ANY OTHER sin.

"Evangelical" preachers say that Salvation is by faith, THEN TURN AROUND AND THREATEN their CONGREGATION that IF THEY DON'T PAY them 10% OF THEIR INCOME, our Loving, Gracious Father WILL PUT A CURSE ON THEM.

On His own CHILDREN!!!

That He will withdraw His blessings FOR FILTHY MONEY!!!

Their greedy minds don't even pause FOR ONE SECOND to think it through!

They don't know and, worse, DON'T CARE about the duplicitous, self-contradicting implications of such FALSE, DAMNABLE message:

THAT MONEY has more power to damn than Jesus has to save.

Why stop there?

How do we know, then, that dishonoring father and mother ARE NOT MORE powerful than Jesus?

How do we know that STEALING ISN'T MORE POWERFUL THAN Jesus?

How do we know that adultery and fornication, which are also "on the list" AREN'T more powerful than Jesus?

These religionists have "A FORM OF godliness, BUT DENY THE POWER thereof" (2 Timothy 3:5).

No wonder Christians in general ARE SO CONFUSED!

No wonder it takes us hours on end, sometimes MONTHS to undo the damage and get sinners TO TRUST JESUS COMPLETELY FOR SALVATION - NO MATTER WHAT they have done, are doing, or will do.

No wonder most Christians are FEEBLE and FEARFUL of losing their Salvation!

As if Jesus, who IS Salvation, could ever be "lost".

Instead of being firm, bold and strong, they're BLOWN AWAY and ENTANGLED by the slightest PUFF of false doctrine.

NO WONDER they have NO SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION to speak of.

Instead of being FIRMLY ESTABLISHED ON THE ROCK (Jesus), their spiritual houses are built on murky sand (more like QUICKSAND).

No wonder most of them are hanging on to their faith BY THE TIPS OF THEIR FINGERNAILS.

The Gospel is PURE.

Mixed messages, by definition, ARE IMPURE.

God HATES mixtures.

He likes PURITY and CLARITY.

In Him is no "darkness" or ambiguity... AT ALL (1 John 1:5).

I URGE ALL so-called "ministers" OF THE Gospel TO REPENT and RETURN TO THE PURE Gospel Message that Jesus and His Apostles preached:

That NO SIN IS ANY MATCH FOR our Jesus.

That He removed ALL SIN (past, present and future) FOR ALL TIME.

That  EVERYONE - who receives Him into his/her heart AND TRUSTS HIM COMPLETELY is SAVED NOW, FOREVER, AND FOR ALL THE EONS OF ETERNITY.

THAT'S the one, true, UNCHANGING, PURE Gospel.

ALL else IS HERESY.

ALL else is PERVERSION.

ALL else is NO GOSPEL at all.

SEPARATION FROM GOD

Does SIN separate us from a HOLY God?

The answer will surprise most people:

NO.

I can almost hear the thousands of religious gasps reverberating through cyberspace.

The answer is STILL "NO".

ORIGINAL sin, the sin that Adam and Eve committed in the Garden of Eden and passed down to ALL their descendants (us) DID INITIALLY "SEPARATE" US FROM OUR HOLY CREATOR AND GOD:

It caused His Glory (manifest Presence, Shekinah) to LEAVE.

It left man destitute, VULNERABLE and NAKED and I don't mean just physically.

Such "separation", thank Goodness, was ONLY TEMPORARY:

It would last ONLY until God could send the UNIFIER Savior to FIX THE PROBLEM.

Once the Savior REMOVED sin, THERE WAS AND IS NO MORE SEPARATION:

"Behold the Lamb of God (Jesus) WHO TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD" (John 1:29).

If He TOOK AWAY THE SIN that caused the separation in the first place, THERE'S NO MORE SEPARATION!

Well, Jesus MAY have taken care of ORIGINAL sin as you say, but He DIDN'T take care of ALL THE OTHER SINS WE COMMITTED AFTERWARDS.

He didn't remove the sins we commit AFTER we receive Him.

If He DIDN'T, you can kiss Salvation, good-bye.

If He DIDN'T you're eternally lost, with NO HOPE OF REDEMPTION... EVER!

THAT LIE was invented BY RELIGION. You won't find such teaching in the New Testament.

ALL your sins, in fact, WERE DEALT WITH 2,000 years ago AT CALVARY and HAVE NO POWER AT ALL TO SEPARATE YOU FROM God.

Jesus doesn't FIND OUT about our sins WHEN WE COMMIT THEM. He KNEW ABOUT THEM before He even created us (Ephesians 1:4; Revelation 13:8)

SIN IS DEAD.

ONLY RELIGION wants to keep sin alive.

ONLY RELIGION wants to perpetuate "separation" as though Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection MEANT NOTHING AND HAD ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING.

Religion has never fully embraced the New Testament.

All religionists are still stuck in Old Testament separation and condemnation.

O ye of little faith and even LESS UNDERSTANDING!!!

Who have MORE FAITH IN SIN'S ABILITY TO SEPARATE YOU FROM CHRIST, than ON HIS ABILITY TO CLEANSE YOU FROM SIN and RECONCILE YOU WITH THE FATHER!

But WHAT ABOUT Isaiah 59:2:

"But YOUR INIQUITIES HAVE SEPARATED YOU FROM YOUR GOD; YOUR SINS HAVE HIDDEN HIS FACE FROM YOU, SO THAT HE WILL NOT HEAR".

Hmm huh...

And WHEN did Isaiah utter those words?

He wrote them while the OLD Testament was still in effect.

He wrote them 800 YEARS BEFORE the Crucifixion and Resurrection.

And even then, he pointedly spoke IN PAST TENSE.

THAT WAS BEFORE CALVARY, dummy!

Yes, THERE WAS separation caused by sin UNTIL Calvary.

There's NO SUCH THING AFTER Calvary.

Unless you think that NOTHING'S CHANGED, that Jesus' Death and Resurrection, that the shedding of His SINLESS Blood MADE NO DIFFERENCE, you haven't got A CHANCE in heaven or hell to make a case for PRESENT "separation" based on THAT.

The sins that Jesus DIED for, the sins that He TOOK UPON HIMSELF, the sins HE KILLED AND NAILED TO THAT CROSS, have NO POWER WHATSOEVER TODAY to separate us from God.

In fact, they NO LONGER EXIST.

Jesus POINTEDLY said in Matthew 12:32 THAT ALL SINS WOULD BE FORGIVEN except rejection of Him.

And Romans 8:38-39 says CLEAR AS DAYLIGHT THAT NOTHING AND NO ONE can SEPARATE US FROM Christ and His love.

So either Scripture contradicts itself (which means that GOD LIED), or Jesus made A HUGE AND PERMANENT DIFFERENCE.

How sad that your congregation doesn't teach this GREAT TRUTH, which is the BASIS OF OUR FAITH!

What a pity that you've frittered away countless hours on the internet LISTENING TO "DOCTRINES OF MEN" INSTEAD OF SPENDING TIME ON THE WORD OF GOD!

You need to find out FOR YOURSELF, what Jesus and His Apostles ACTUALLY SAID, instead of believing WHAT MAN-INVENTED RELIGION SAYS that "He said".

THERE'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

AFTER Calvary sin HAS NO MORE POWER to separate ANYONE from God, because sin HAS BEEN REMOVED FOREVER (John 1:29; Hebrews 9:26):  WHICH PART OF "FOREVER" DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?

"Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But HE HAS APPEARED

at the culmination of the ages TO REMOVE SIN – ONCE and FOR ALL -- by the Sacrifice of Himself" (Hebrews 9:26).

"God was in Christ RECONCILING (REUNITING, bringing back TOGETHER) the world UNTO HIMSELF, NOT COUNTING MEN'S SINS AGAINST THEM" (1 Corinthians 5:19).

"For by ONE SACRIFICE He has PERFECTED FOREVER ALL who are SANCTIFIED" (set apart unto Salvation) (Hebrews 10:14).

You CAN'T say it ANY CLEARER THAN THAT.

Born-again BELIEVERS are NOT SEPARATED FROM Jesus. We're SEPARATED (sanctified) TO Jesus!

There is NOW, glory to His Name, NO SEPARATION:

We belong to Him and He (glory, glory, glory) BELONGS TO US.

Jesus FIXED THE SIN PROBLEM - ONCE AND FOR ALL - 2,000 YEARS AGO!!!

DEAL WITH IT!

WHERE’S THE GOOD NEWS?

The Incarnation of God, Jesus Christ, came to this world 2,000 years ago, as a man to:

1. Fulfill (ETERNALLY SATISFY) God’s law on behalf of all mankind (Matthew 5:17).

2. To DIE and pour out His Sacred Blood for THE SIN of mankind, thus REMOVING SIN FOREVER (John 1:29; Hebrews 9:26).

3. To CREDIT HIS OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS to those who TRUST HIM (2 Corinthians 5:21).

4. To put His own Divine Love (God) Nature inside of us (2 Peter 1:4).

5. To seek and save that which was lost (Luke 19:10).

6. To SAVE ALL SINNERS WHO RECEIVE HIM INTO THEIR INNERMOST BEING as ONLY Savior and God, and COMPLETELY TRUST HIM – and ONLY HIM – for Salvation (John 3:16-17).

7. To FOREVER RECONCILE US to the Father (2 Corinthians 5:19).

8. To set a PERFECT EXAMPLE for us (Philippians 2:5-11).

9. To preach the Gospel or Good News of the Kingdom of God. His Kingdom COMES INTO and is IN those who receive the King into their hearts (Luke 17;21).

10. To make A NEW and BETTER Testament, guaranteed and sealed WITH His own Blood (Mark 14:24), thus replacing the OLD Testament which had not been able to save A SINGLE SOUL.

The OLD Testament couldn’t save anyone BECAUSE IT WAS BASED ON OUR WORKS or “GOOD BEHAVIOR”.

The NEW Testament has saved BILLIONS BECAUSE it’s based on Jesus’ Perfect and FINISHED Work, and on His Perfect OBEDIENCE to the Father.

Despite all of the above, millions of so-called Christians live, think and act AS THOUGH JESUS HAD NEVER COME.

As though NONE OF THE ABOVE had ever happened.

As though Jesus MADE NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL.

As though His perfect obedience, His death, His Blood, His burial, three days and nights in hell, Resurrection and Ascension and New Covenant, where He put His OWN HOLY Spirit IN US, HAD NEVER HAPPENED.

They preach “salvation” based on Jesus PLUS…

According to them, it takes Jesus PLUS ALL THAT OTHER OLD TESTAMENT STUFF THAT NO ONE – NOT EVEN MOSES – could EVER KEEP.

If it DIDN’T SAVE YOU BEFORE JESUS, HOW IN GOD’S NAME CAN IT SAVE YOU AFTER JESUS?

WHERE IS the “GOOD NEWS” OR “GOSPEL” in telling people “Jesus came and died for your sins and rose, BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO LIVE as you did BEFORE Jesus died and rose?

There’s NO GOOD NEWS IN THAT AT ALL.

That's NOT the Gospel.

That is NOTHING but RELIGION.

That is NOTHING but RETURN TO SLAVERY.

That is NOTHING but LACK OF FAITH in Jesus as being ETERNALLY SUFFICIENT to save you.

If you ADD to His finished work, YOU DON’T TRUST, and have NO FAITH.

And if YOU REALLY TRUST JESUS AS YOUR SALVATION, you DO NOT ADD.

Those who still live under the OLD Testament are SLAVES.

SLAVES are NOT SONS.

Only sons inherit the Father’s Kingdom.

SLAVES inherit NOTHING (Galatians 4:30).

SLAVES aren’t even saved.

WHY, in heaven’s name, are you so hell-bent in leading people INTO BONDAGE WHEN JESUS HAS FREED THEM?

WHERE’S the “GOOD NEWS” in ANY of that?

SONSHIP PRIVILEGE

In order to rule this earth one MUST BE a son of God. (Genesis 1:28; Luke 3:38)

And in order to be a son of God one MUST BE human.

No angel’s ever been called the son of God. (Hebrews 1:5)

No other created being has ever been called the son of God.

Jesus IS the FIRST Son of God and is VERY human.

He is also VERY God.

And God NOW -- praise His Name! -- has many OTHER sons who are born-again in the Image of His First Son Jesus. (Hebrews 2:10)

That’s why all this business about conspiracy theories bringing about the tribulation and Antichrist, and about Islam taking over the world, is a bunch of baloney and TOTALLY UNBIBLICAL.

They don’t know Jesus, therefore they’re NOT children of God.

Therefore, THEY CAN’T RULE THE EARTH.

God WILL HAVE TO take all His Children HOME and “out of the way” in order to allow satan’s son TO RULE OVER UNSAVED MANKIND for 3-1/2 years, INCLUDING ALL the “conspirators” and all WHO ADHERE TO ISLAM.

All of them will be ruled by the Antichrist.

Let’s not kid ourselves: ONLY GOD’S CHILDREN CAN RULE THE EARTH.

Only God’s children GET TO rule the earth.

But as Paul tells us, as long as the heir IS A SMALL CHILD, he is NO DIFFERENT FROM A SLAVE, although he is LORD OF ALL” (Galatians 4:1)

Here we sit WITH ALL THE AUTHORITY IN THE WORLD as SONS OF THE MOST HIGH GOD, and we DON’T USE IT.

Because the Church is not just “a small child”: it’s IN DIAPERS!

That’s why IT POOPS AND PEES ALL OVER ITSELF.

(Not trying to be crude, but PAUSE AND MEDITATE)

Our so-called “LEADERS” DON’T HAVE A CLUE.

And if the shepherds DON’T have a clue, neither do the sheep.

SOMEONE IN DALLAS “DROPPED THE BALL”

The recent shooting of police officers in Dallas, 5 of whom were murdered, is tragic, sad and INEXCUSABLE.

The so-called “protests” are incited by hateful thugs, filled with hatred who, like their father satan ONLY WANT TO “kill, steal, and destroy”. (John 10:10)

They are A FAR CRY from the PEACEFUL protests led by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in the 60’s which led to civil rights legislation.

If black people feel they are being treated unfairly, there are OTHER WAYS TO CARRY OUT PROTESTS, and OTHER FORUMS (like the courts, CONTACTING elected officials, and signing petitions) where they can vent their anger and express their concern.

This sort of mayhem DOES NOT ADVANCE the interests of the black community: NOR WILL IT BRING BACK THOSE WHO HAVE DIED. ALL IT DOES is sow more resentment, division, misunderstanding and anarchy.

If anything, IT ENSURES that police officers GET EVEN MORE AGGRESSIVE in dealing with black suspects.

It’s O.K. to be angry if someone has been treated unfairly, but it’s also important TO BE FAIR:

If an ARMED thug lunges towards a police officer and threatens him, THE OFFICER HAS A RIGHT TO DEFEND HIMSELF OR HERSELF -- whether the attacker is black, white, green or purple:

We all need to be praying for the victims’ families, and for the victims who survived and are trying to recover.
