A. Some asosan bo’lishli gaplarda ishlatiladi, va “biroz” “bir nechta” deb tarjima qilinadi. Undan keyin ko’plikdagi va sanalmaydigan ot kelishi mumkin.
For. ex: He asked me some questions. There is some cheese in the fridge.
1. Some va undan yasalgan olmoshlar taklif va iltimosni ifodalaganda so’roq gaplarda ishlatilishi mumkin. Shuningdek “ha”qisqa javobi kutilgan umumiy savollarda.
For. ex: Why don’t you eat some chocolate? (offer)
Would you like something to drink? (offer)
Can I have some sugar, please? (request)
Could you post some letters for me ?(request)
Is there someone who can help me? (I expect there will be)
2. Some of + the/this/my... + noun.
For. ex: I have forgotten some of the details. (not: some the details)
Some of my friends study at university.
3. Some olmoshi son oldidan kelganda, taxminan, qariyb, chamasi ma’nosidagi “about” predlog’i bilan sinonim bo’la oladi.
For. ex: York is a historic city of some 110,000 people. Marion died in hospital some ten days later. Thereare some 20 people in the company.
4. Some ba’zan sanaladigan otlar oldidan kelishi mumkin, bunda u noaniq artikl ma’nosida ya’ni “qandaydir” tarjimasini berishi mumkin.
For. ex: There must have been some mistake. Some fool drove into the back of my car.
5. Some “ba’zi” ma’nosida quyidagi strukturada kelishi mumkin.
a) some ...... others
For. ex: Somepeople say video games are benefitial while others believe they are harmful.
b) some..... some
For. ex: Some people like pigeons and some don’t.
