The limiting factors for the fish living conditions in Uzbekistan, which need protection, are the
lowering of the level and salinity of the Aral Sea water, which, as a result of the artificial distribution
of the flow of the Amu Darya and Syr Darya rivers that flow into it, the following changes take place:
pollution and water regime change, deterioration of the conditions for water addition, the competition
of acclimatized and alien fish, mud flows, recreational activities and poaching [1], [2], [5], [6], [7]. In
addition, the reason for the second limited factor is dramatic destruction of
Acipenser nudiventris
is in
the 1936-1937 years of mass infection of fish disease [2]. And what is the limiting factor for Aral Sea
trout is still unknown [7].
All representatives of sturgeon found in our reservoirs are included in the IUCN red list as in
need of protection, and now on the verge of complete destruction [2], [5].
The Aral Sea trout was always on small amount; this species was last caught in 1937, at this
time it completely disappeared from the earth's surface [7]. The Bastard sturgeon (
Acipenser
nudiventris
) and Aral barbel (
Luciobarbus brachycephalus
) in the last 20 years almost did not appear
in the water reservoirs of the Fergana Valley [5].
In spite of designed for the protection measures, banned fishing and being carefully protected
by the existing population of fish, no species in the practice became the subject of reproduction [5],[6].
In conclusion, based on the above analyzes, the following can be noted:
conducting regular monitoring of protected and other fish distributed in the waters of the
Fergana Valley;
14
prevention of pollution of water bodies by industrial waste, development of measures to clean
up polluted water bodies;
prohibiting the chaotic and complete catching of fish species in need of protection;
implementation of planned scientific research work related to the biology and ecology of fish in
need of protection;
implementation of large-scale propaganda work among the people would be consistent with the
set goal.
