Travel and tourism are always lumped together, but I believe this is incorrect. They seem to be two distinct industry markets to me. The mode of transportation used to get to a destination is becoming an increasingly important factor for the individual traveler. You no longer take any available mode of transportation; instead, you choose the one that best fits your needs. Traveling by air, train, vehicle, or bus is determined not only by the destination, but also by who you are as an individual and what your personal travel needs and desires are.
