REFLECTION ON INTRODUCTORY TEACHING PRACTICUM OF YOUNG LANGUAGE LEARNERS
Write your reflection on teaching practicum within 300-350 words. Describe the process of your micro teachings focusing the followings:….

  1. What were your first thoughts about this overall practicum? Were they mostly positive or negative? If positive, what comes to mind specifically? Negative?

  2. What were some of the most interesting discoveries you made while working on the Fly High books?

  3. Name three things you learned about children and explain how they affect your teaching?

  4. What were some of your most powerful learning moments from the practicum and what were some good things about teaching children?

  5. What do you need to think about when planning lessons for young children?

  6. Give an example of one activity you could do to develop reading and writing skills.

  7. What is the most important thing you learned personally from the practicum?

  8. What could you do differently from a personal standpoint the next time for your class?

  9. What general and specific conclusions can you draw?

  10. How will you use what you have learned and what other things may you do to make your lessons even better in the future?

1.Well, as far as I am concerned, Overall of my thoughts about practisum is the best one for me. During practicum, I learn a lot of practice to exceed my teaching style and method. If I speak about positive side, I learn to acquiring professional experience, using suitable material for teaching, preparing teaching material, preparing an effective lesson plan, providing classroom control, using different teaching methods and techniques, developing communication skills I learn. If I share negative side of practicum, I can not notice any negative side, because it is very useful time for us learning teaching methods.
2. Well, during practicum, I utilize Fly High books, It is very necessary book for teaching pupils. During working with it, I have some of most interesting discoveries such as translate interesting articles and texts, playing enjoyable crosswords and quizzes, find the necessary word to put in the sentences, and also during the lesson, be busy with puzzle via picture. All of these important teaching styles are included in this Fly High book.
3. In my point of view, three things I learned about children, especially their character I pay attention more. Firstly, during the lesson, I notice them more attentive, clever and insistent, alert perceptive children. That’s why, while observing pupils, I learn more things from them. They can effect me positive side, In the future I try to correspond for them.
4. As far as I am concerned that, The most powerful learning moments during practicum is ever moments of lesson , in every lesson I try to spend my moments with pupils, I especially say good things about teaching children for example in that time I learn how to take part in pupils at the lesson, how can I gain their attention, How can I make the lesson more interesting and effevtively.
5.I need to think about when I plan lessons for young children, I used to pay attention more their chacter and their ability and also of course their degree. Because of this, Plan is very necessary for the lesson, it means that lesson’s aim and teacher’s skills. If instructor make the lesson by perfect lesson plan in this time during lesson, pupils have a fun of taking part of the lesson and Lesson continues step by step in time. Then I can say, during making lesson plan, teacher must add extra interesting games and quizzes.
6. Well, during practicum, I show a big preference creating new methods for developing pupil’s writing and reading skills. Especially, I think that, Vocabulary games are the best way to develop it. That’s why I create quizzes and crossword which included this theme and pupils try to find them and develop their writing and reading skills. And also translate new topics and writing extra information about them.
7. In my point of view, I learn personally: How can I work with children and pupils and what kind of interesting games we can play with pupils for continuing the lesson interestingly. Then, also How do I communicate with pupils, what kind of interesting facts included new lesson I find and show pupils. These are a very useful methods for me and I learn personally.
8. According to my standpoint, I try to utilize different style for every lesson. For instance, I attempt to use new style such as collaborating through pupils, who can fistly translate the text, who can spell new words without any mistakes and who can make sentences ….. these are the best way to continue lessons interestingly. As my standpoint I try to catch the best lesson during teaching.
9. Ooh, I can say without any hesitation, I can draw the best time in my practice time. The reason is that, before practicing, I don’t know How can I work pupils during the lesson, and I don’t know about interesting games which included new theme. But after practice I learn them and I notice that Professional teacher must know these which I mentione above..
10. As I have mentioned above ten answers, This practicum is the best choice to me to be professional teacher. During observing the lesson, I learn many methods and I try to utilize in the future profession. Every teacher who I observed They have their own teaching style and methods, they attempt to teach us look like them. I am glad to make practicum both in school in offline and via zoom in online I catch enough knowledge about How can teach pupils and another necessary skills.
