Lesson: Unit 1, Lesson 2. Professions.
Objectives:
- to enable pupils to talk about professions, their workplace and what they do;
- to enable pupils to listen for specific information.

Greeting and Checking homework. (3 min)
Activity 1. Drawing picture.
Objective: To know awareness of pupils about professions and concentrate them on the topic.
Instruction: (10 min for this task)
It is an individual work and example of pre-activity. For this activity we share a shit of paper. Pupil have to draw pictures of profession which they want to be in future. Then we will discuss about professions.
Introducing new topic . To enable pupils to talk about professions learning by heart. (10min)
Activity 2. Crossword.
Objective: consolidate pupils knowledge about professions.
Instruction: (10 min for this task)
It is group work. It is example of while-activity. For this task we divide pupils into 3 groups by choosing one card from box. In the card there is given numbers like one, two, three. Then we give them crossword. In crossword given definition of professions. Pupils have to find which profession is it with help of definition. The ones who find all answers true and first are winners.
Checking task. After pupils finish task , check it with them. If there is mistakes, correct it and then assess winner groups.
Activity.3 Broken phone game.
Objectives: to help pupils remember not only professions but also their workplace and definitions.
Instructions. (10 min)
It is also individual work and it is type of post activity. For this game we need 5 voluntary . we place them in one line and then we give 3 sentence about profession to the first pupil. He have to whisper the sentences to next voluntary. It continues till last participant hear the sentences. At the end final pupil have to repeat the sentences, which we give, and we check it is true or not.
At the end of lesson we asses active participants and give homework. (5 min)
