Due and existing in the human
Summary
This article concerns one of the key problems of human’s life, namely the correlation of two basic parts of human’s life. One of them is normative part of human’s life, while the other is the virtual part of human’s life. In particular, the matter concerns how one of them correlates with other and inversely. In fact human’s life in its essence is nothing else, but only the life of human in the certain correlation of these parts.
This topic is of current concern and is contemporary in the sense that life of modern human cannot run without correlation of mentioned parts, moreover in such critical situation, in which this human is – in the sense of disharmony between normative and virtual parts of human’s life. Overcoming of this disharmony is the urgent task of modernity.
Due and existing are two fundamental characteristics of human’s life. The first means what exist in this life, while the second one – what should be in it. Generally, what really exist and what should be, of course, are not one and the same. The first is ontical phenomenon, while the second is axiological phenomenon of human’s life; first is existent, and second is axiological phenomenon of it.
Due and existing in the human are two interrelated phenomena. One cannot exist without other and inversely; one passes in another. There is so called dialectical interrelation between them. That’s why it is impossible to separate them from each other.
In the sense of correlation of due and existing in the human there are only two opposite possibilities. In first case existing in the human coincides, corresponds with due in him, while in other case, on the contrary, does not coincide, does not correspond to it, and sometimes even is opposite to it. It would be ideally if the human actually will live in proper manner, in other words if existing will correspond to due. Otherwise we will fall into the abnormal situation. This condition of the human in other words is called estrangement of human, since in this situation identity of due and existing is lost, and thereby existing becomes alien to due.
The fact, that existing generally correlates to due and not inversely, in its turn, indicates the primate of due before existing. Actually due just because that it is due, should be the measure, criteria of all existing. It is caused just by the fact that due is the sphere of valuable in the contrast to existing, which may join and may not join to it. Proceeding from this fact all existing is measured by due, in other words it is measured only on the basis of how corresponds the human’s life with these values. The values here act as benchmarks of human’s life.
Today the modern mankind experiences a deep crisis of human’s development and it also concerns human’s development in the sense of correlation of existing and due in the human’s life. Disharmony between existing and due in itself requires its overcoming in human’s life. From this standpoint the supreme goal of the society is the overcoming of this conflict between existing and due. Maximal harmonization of existing and due in the human is the pressing task of the whole mankind.
