Quarterly Meeting Minutes - October 25, 2011
The meeting was called to order at 6:35 PM by Association president Bert Mitchell at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The FHHHNA Board members were introduced: Treasurer Becky Berentsen and Secretary Geni Everett.

Gave an update/summary of crime in our neighborhood

There is a quick link to the police on the left side of the talgov.com homepage; you can use it to report issues on-line, as well as request a residential check

For problems with barking dogs, call Animal Control during the day; police at night

Interesting tidbits from our Crime Statistics for 7-26 thru 10-25-11

Of the 7 reported auto burglaries, 6 had left their vehicle unlocked

The trend for Residential Burglaries was down, or the 4 reported, 1 left their door unlocked

12 warnings were given for Disorderly Conduct/Loud Noise or Music; 26 reports

There were 26 Suspicious Person/Vehicle Incidents – keep up the good work in reporting

Minutes - It was moved and seconded to accept the minutes of the July meeting as printed; motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report - approved as presented
Previous balance: $2015.46 + 4 Deposits $ 60.00 = Ending Balance of $2075.46. There is one outstanding check totaling $30.00, which would give a balance of $2045.46.
It was approved to donate $150.00 to Covenant Presbyterian Church for the use of their facility during the year.
Dues are due in January.
Updates

The board continues to look for 3 neighbors to serve on the Board as Members-At-Large and 1 to serve as Vice-President

The Board is working on a policy to address the rooming houses in the neighborhood and shared a letter that has been drafted to notify the City of Violations

The board continues to send noise complaint letters and has gotten good response from homeowners.

A database has been created with all homes in the neighborhood, including owners of rental property
