Abstract:
In the era of global changes, when the intensity of the Internet
captures the population of the whole world, the process of developing infor-
mation attacks has reached its apogee. Therefore, it is necessary to pay special
attention to the issues of protecting young people from malicious attacks on the
Internet, training them in the effective use of information technologies. After all,
social networks of the Internet system occupy a very important place in raising
the spirituality of young people.

Nowadays, the Internet, becoming an integral part of our lives, has grown
rapidly and already has taken its important place in our daily life. The lives of
the youth is hard to imagine without the Internet. Currently, the number of users
of social networks, such as Telegram, Facebook, Viber, WhatsApp, Instagram,
Odnoklassniki and others is growing day by day. For this reason, a number of
positive results have been achieved in the consistent implementation of the State
Youth Policy. In our country, a large-scale work is being carried out to educate
the younger generation in a comprehensive and harmonious way. In this regard,
on March 19, 2019, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mir-
ziyoyev acknowledged that the third of the five most important initiatives put
forward at the video conference on women's employment focused on strengthen-
ing the attention of young people, their involvement in culture, arts, physical
culture and sports, the organization of effective use of computer technology and
the Internet among young people, promoting reading and women's employment.
The internet is full of useful, enlightening and interesting information, and
the person who uses it correctly and effectively will increase his knowledge in
all areas. Here, the main task of parents is to introduce and teach their children
all the positive aspects of the "virtual world". To do this, parents must first thor-
oughly examine all the information and teach it to their children, acquainting
them with truly great works of science and high art, forming in them a system of
values that is consistent with the worldview.
At the same time, social networks are affecting almost every aspect of
human life, along with creating enormous opportunities to acquire knowledge
and necessary information. It enables a person to increase his knowledge, to im-
7
prove his professionalism, to relax according to his needs and desires, to follow
the events in international and domestic politics, to be an active subject of politi-
cal and economic relations, to participate in stock market games, to create works
of art, to organize exhibitions, to hold presentations, to shop for necessities. It is
social media that has revolutionized traditional cultural institutions, such as li-
braries, museums, and art exhibitions. Thanks to social networks, virtual librar-
ies, virtual museums, virtual exhibitions, virtual discussion clubs, e-shops, e-
news agencies, educational portals have emerged. The Internet has made the ac-
tivities of governments, heads of state, various ministries and organizations, po-
litical parties and public organizations more transparent to citizens. Social media
has allowed millions of people to realize their potential and expand their free-
dom.
The conditions created for young people are showing their results in prac-
tice. Today, the role of many of our passionate and dedicated young people is
invaluable in the spiritual development of a harmoniously developed generation,
the upbringing of young people who think independently, have strong life be-
liefs and views, and further enhance their legal and political culture.
Consistently, special attention should be paid to protecting young people
from harmful attacks on the Internet, teaching them to use information technolo-
gy effectively. After all, the Internet plays an important role in raising the mo-
rale of young people. Because parenting behavioral skills, life principles, think-
ing, and the world are more likely to be explored through the Internet. Some
parents feel that there is nothing to worry about when their child is in front of a
computer. But even in the virtual world, they may face certain dangers and
threats. The goal is not to isolate the child from the Internet, but to create the
perfect tools for his development.
At a time when the speed of the Internet is attracting people all over the
world, the development of information attacks has reached its peak.
Considering this, the first President I.A. Karimov said, “Even a seemingly
insignificant message against human spirituality today is gaining strength from
the intensity of globalization in the world of information and it can cause invisi-
ble but harmful, irreparable damage ”[1-P.115].
Various misinformation, organizations that distribute false information,
while seemingly simple today, are in fact funded by some countries that seek
hegemony over the world. The Internet is sweeping the world like a spider's
web. Today, the World Wide Web has become an effective, interactive, flexible,
fast, interconnected, cost-effective and unique means of communication and so
on. Experts estimate that 60 percent of the population under the age of 35 now
use social media, with the most active group aged 18-24. [2] Information from
the media and the Internet also serves to raise the general, including political
awareness of young people. This will create certain facilities for government
agencies and social institutions, as well as for the population itself, and will de-
velop interrelation between them. By observing the social networks of the Inter-
8
net, it is possible to get a clearer idea of the desires and needs of young people,
to determine the measures to address certain social problems by studying their
information. This is a new type of communication with young people, as well as
an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and draw the attention of the authori-
ties to the problem of youth.
As a coin has two sides, below, we are going to discuss the negative
drawbacks of the situation. The media, including the Internet, is flooded with
information about aggression, violence, cruelty, violent injustice, and moral hu-
miliation, which has turned the hearts of children and adolescents to stone, mak-
ing them indifference to everything else, forming the dominance of the cult of
fluency. Why, because crime is constantly being demonstrated on the rise on tel-
evision, researches show that it ranks second after advertising. [3] In addition,
social networks can be dangerous in that they can overshadow the age-old insti-
tutions of socialization — family, school, neighborhood, and even friends and
peers. The virtual world is trying to instill a mirage-like lifestyle in the minds of
people, including young people, and is threatening to see the world with its false
allure. "Addiction to virtual life" deforms a person's social consciousness and
morals. However, sociologists have found that the vast majority of young people
value virtual relationships because surveys show that they spend most of their
free time sitting in these networks.
All in all, “Information crisis means the realization of political goals by
certain forces using ideological factors to influence people's feelings, beliefs and
emotions in order to instill ideas in their minds and hearts, the use of unconven-
tional and impartial methods of influencing society spiritually, materially, and
spiritually to bring about changes in lifestyle and mentality.”[35, p-35]. Indeed,
in today’s globalized world, it is worrying that the information crisis is having a
negative impact on the ideology of young people. However, young people are
the owners of our future. The formation of high spirituality in our youth, their
upbringing as virtuous people is a requirement of today. After all, direct parental
example is the best method of upbringing in the formation and strengthening of
every good habit and tradition. The growth of our youth, both physically and
mentally, will determine the prestige and place of our country in the world
community tomorrow.
In conclusion, we live in a time when science and technology are becom-
ing more and more integrated. Therefore, it is important for each of us to follow
the culture of using social networks and, in turn, to teach it to others. Therefore,
the foundation of development is laid by protecting the spiritual world of young
people from harmful elements, various destructive, alien and harmful ideas. Af-
ter all, the upbringing of a spiritually mature, intellectually gifted generation is
one of the most important tasks not only in Uzbekistan, but all over the world. It
is the spiritually mature generation that will determine the future of the country.
Spiritual perfection is an important factor in the development of society.
