Question 1.

The importance of research in our life is indisputable. Since, it is necessary and valuable for us.

Firstly, research is a tool for building knowledge and facilitating learning. Scientific facts and other information people use for different purposes came from research and its results. Secondly, it is means to understand the issues and increase public awareness among the nation.
There are different types of research based on different aspects such as: purpose, process, outcome.
These categories also divided into various types. Research types under the category of purpose divided into four : descriptive, analytical, exploratory and predictive.
Descriptive research refers to research that provides an accurate portrayal of characteristics of a particular individual situation, or group. It is also called as statistical research. These studies are means of discovering new meaning, describing what exists, determining the frequency with which something occurs, and categorizing information
Analytical research involves in-depth study and evaluation of available information in attempt to explain complex phenomenon. The research has to use facts or information already available and analyze these to make a critical evaluation of the material
Exploratory research is a type of research conducted for a problem that has not been clearly defined. Exploratory research helps determine the best research design, data collection method and selection of subjects. The results of exploratory research are nor usually useful for decision-making by themselves, but they can provide significant insight into a given situation.
