RECOMMENDATIONS 
 
1.When activated carbon AG-3 is poured, coal dust is released. Activated carbon dust is not 
poisonous, but when ingested in large quantities in human lungs, it causes disease. The 
maximum permissible concentration (MPC) of coal dust in the air of working rooms is 10 
mg/m3 according to GOST 12.1.005. 
2. Activated carbon AG-3 is combustible. The smoldering temperature is 210 X . The self - 
ignition temperature of the air suspension is 610 X . The air suspension does not ignite to a 
concentration of 300 g/m3. 
3.When pouring activated carbon AG-3, it is necessary to use an anti-dust respirator of types 
F-62SH, U-2K. The places where activated carbon is poured must be equipped with 2 GOST R 
56357-2015 in accordance with fire safety standards: the absence of open fire sources, the 
presence of supply and exhaust ventilation. Safety signs according to GOST R 12.4.026: "It is 
forbidden to use an open fire" and "It is forbidden to smoke". 
4.When burning, the coal should be extinguished with water, water with a wetting agent, 
foam, PF powder. Organizational and technical measures to ensure fire safety - according to 
GOST 12.1.004. 
5.When working with gasoline, it is necessary to comply with the requirements of the 
instructions for working with flammable and harmful chemicals. During loading and unloading 
operations, the requirements of GOST 12.3.009 should be observed.
