ECONOMIC TEST RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL SPRING DEVICE

Abstract.
The article conducts economic research on the development of resource-saving 
technologies in the artificial shedding of cotton leaves and new scientific and technical solutions 
for the formation of high-dispersion droplets of spraying equipment, including the technological 
operation of high-dispersion droplet-forming spraying devices for small-volume fan 
sprayers.The experimental spraying unit, equipped with advanced cultivators, was tested in the 
field under typical field conditions and optimal agro-technical terms for the agro-technical 
evaluation test area. During the study, test schemes were adopted to determine the performance 
of sprayers in the field, soil type, relief and microrelief, soil moisture and hardness were 
determined in accordance with GOST 20915. According to the agronomic data of the farm, the

size of the plant, the number of yielding elements and the number of yielding branches per plant 
were determined. The developmental phase was determined (visually) by reviewing the leaf 
surface description (by density). Meteorological conditions were determined during the 
evaluation of the performance of the experimental spraying unit. The process of defoliation on 
the prepared background was carried out in agrotechnical terms with a working solution of 
defoliant Super chlorate magnesium Mg(ClO
3
)
2
. 10-15 min after the defoliation process, the 
droplets were removed from the hanging site by drying and the total number of droplets, coating 
density and median-mass diameter on the upper and lower sides of the droplets were analyzed by 
scanning using the DepositScan program. For conventional and experimental spraying units, the 
results of comparing the technical efficiency on the first day, after 6 days and after 12 days of the 
cotton defoliation process are presented. Their performance was determined on the basis of field 
tests of the experimental spraying unit and the traditional CFS-600 sprayer. The use of a 
developed high-dispersion droplet-forming turbulizer was studied in terms of working fluid 
consumption per hectare, labor consumption, opening rate of cotton leaves and stalks, annual 
economic efficiency in the defoliation process relative to the existing spraying unit.
