to  take  into  co n sideratio n  the  stag es  o f   tran sition  b etw een  the 
sound  seq u en ces  and  establish  the  co m b in ato ry   chang es  taking 
p lace  in  th e  sy llab ic  bound ary   at  the  ju n c tio n   o f  w ords  and  m o r­
phem es.
