Australian  English  is  one  of the  literary  national  types  used 
since  the  end  o f  the  eighteenth  century.  There  are  three  types  o f 
pronunciation in  Australia:
1. Educated or Cultivated A ustralian English;
2. Broad A ustralian English;
3 .General  A ustralian  English  (GAu)  w hich  is  regarded  as  a 
literary type.
