2015 Award Overview

• 
  All certified teachers in the East Lynne District are eligible for this honor.
  
• 
  Nominations are accepted in the school office or via e mail April 17- May 1.
  
• 
  Students, parents, staff and community members are encouraged to nominate a teacher who has inspired learning.
  
• 
  Nominations will include the essay How this teacher has inspired learning in the classroom.
  
• 
  All nominations will be forwarded to an independent judging panel outside of the district.
  
• 
  The judges will select three finalist from all nominations.
  
• 
  The finalist will submit a professional resume package and meet with the judging panel.
  
• 
  The three finalists will be recognized at the end of the year ceremony in May where the 2015 East Lynne Teacher of the Year will be announced.
  
• 
  The winner will receive a grant to enrich their classroom
  
• 
  The winner will receive a gift certificate toward a celebratory dinner, a certificate and their name will appear on the Teacher of the Year plaque hanging in the school.
