Terminal definition, types and architectural design

Abstract:
Today's terminal is a place in cities that enables transportation of
passengers from one city to another. It is obvious that today's form of terminal has been
formed over a long time and the needs of the day of society. In a not too long time, the
transfer of passengers by mass desert trips were carried out. The importance of the
issue of travel security, the issue of time and security of traffic and traffic, my help led
to the formation of a problem called terminal, which to better understand the history of
bus use and passenger transportation in the country.

Definitions of terminal layout
Design: A set of measures to set up and operate a terminal (in this collection) by

These types of terminals are used to regulate the traffic of all types of intercity
passenger cars and serve long distances.
Domestic passenger terminals
This terminal was the country's authorized land entrance and exit terminal.
Types of terminals in terms of ownership
Government passenger terminals
Terminals implemented and implemented by public and governmental
investments and monitored by the government.
Private passenger terminals
Terminals that are regulated by private sector investment and enforcing laws and
regulations.

Single building terminal:
Administrative departments are located in the upper floor of the service sectors in
the middle floor and the main salon on the ground floor.
The exterior walls of the building can be used to tuck cars and evacuate
passengers.
Centralized terminals:
The plan of these terminals is generally circular and the center of the plan has a
lot of emphasis.
Radial terminals:
In this type of terminals, the units providing services are in a central unit of the
design of the
residential complex
and the evacuation platforms and passengers have
been removed from the center as radiuses.
Performance of terminal types
Centralized terminals:
Such terminals can be divided into two general and specific types. Public
terminals for the use of all vehicles and passenger transport activists are intended solely
for a passenger company. Such facilities are aimed at centralizing all the affairs of
intercity passenger transportation including ticket booths, ride platforms and
passengers' disembarkation.

Terminal Platforms
Studies and standards of the terminal determine the level of providing additional
facilities to passengers such as
the implementation
of villas, seating and freight trolleys
according to the conditions.
The main function of the platforms is as follows:
Passengers are expected to board the vehicle at the specified time
Short-term stopping of cars for passengers to board
The arrival of passengers in the vehicle
Control the entrance and exit of vehicles
The types of design systems for platforms used in passenger terminals are as
follows:
Linear Platforms
The efficiency of linear platforms is not the same as other types of platforms and
usually when vehicles (especially buses) use the platform for short stops (maximum
time intervals of 10minutes).

Serrated platforms allow vehicles to move independently for entry and exit of the
platform and their use is recommended in the design of centralized and half-focused
terminals.

In order to exit the vehicle, the platforms need to move backwards and are used
