8:00am Block band for warmup

10:15 Load trailer and eat lunch that you bring with you, color guard hair, makeup, etc.

10:45 Meet in band room

11:15 Leave school

12:15 Arrive at Homestead

  performance preparation reminder…no playing, flag work, etc. until the warm-up area

***Directions to Homestead: South on I69 to US 24 West exit. Turn right on 24 West to Homestead Road and turn right. The school is approximately 1 ½ miles ahead on the left.

Directions to Wayne Stadium from Auburn: I69 South to the 465 exit on the south side of Fort Wayne. Go east to Winchester Road, then north about 2 miles. Turn left on Dunkleburg and you are there! Address is: 9100 Winchester Road Fort Wayne, IN 46819

From Homestead to Wayne: Go south on Homestead Rd, turn left on Lower Huntington Rd, continue straight onto the Airport Expressway, turn right on Bluffton Rd, turn left on Dunkleburg and you are there!

11:35 PM Arrive at school; everyone helps unload and buses should be spotless. Have a ride at school to pick you up no later than 11:35PM It is inappropriate to expect the chaperone to wait on your ride home.

*If you are not returning on the bus, it is your responsibility to find someone to unload

your stuff. Lots of people are having problems with this. I do not have to allow you to sign out. It is a gift for your convenience.

*Also, notes are required and parents must personally sign you out of a bus after

the contest is over unless you have made prior arrangements with Mr. Fisher.
*Please don’t forget to eat something healthy throughout the day.
