Objectives: to get pupils warmed up.
This is normal reading for necessary information. Each pupil should read the story silently and guess the meaning of new words.
STEP 1: After they have finished tell them the new words with meaning to make the text understandable.
STEP 2: When they are ready, ask them some questions that show their understanding of the story totally.
IV. Main part
Activity 2 Look, read and match. 10 min
Objective: to revise the words from the text to check their ability of remembering
STEP 1: Ask the pupils turn by turn take one sticker from the poster and read the sentence under it.
STEP 2: Afterwards they should find whose sentence is it and stick it to the right character on the poster.


Activity 3 Learn and say. 10min
Objectives: to revise adjectives; To practice the adjectives and its degrees.
To show presentation on the theme adjectives and make them understand the differences between positive, comparative, superlative degrees. They should write down on their notebooks if they have forgotten the structures of using them. After they have learnt ask them to pay attention for the examples;
And match the colours with the pictures.


Say the words loudly and learn the structures


Activity 4a Watch and say. 3 min
Objective: to learn to use the forms of adjectives
Show them the picture and ask them to do it orally in order to make sure that they have understood the structure and where to use them.
Say the examples the first cat is big. The second is bigger. The third is the biggest of al and so on. This activity gives them opportunity to learn easily and practice what they have learnt and be ready to the next activity.



Activity 4b Work in groups of 3/4. Write the degrees of adjectives correctly.4 min
