Chapter I. Theoretical foundations of teaching a foreign language. 
In the methodology, there are several approaches to determining the content of teaching foreign languages. Let us dwell on the one that was proposed by G.V. Rogova and which is the basis of many methodological schools in Russia.
Determining the content of teaching foreign languages, the followers of the school of G.V. Rogovoi distinguish three main components of the content of education: linguistic, psychological and methodological.
It seems to us that the teacher needs not only to know what he should teach, but also why it is necessary to teach precisely these components that we have singled out. / 12 /
1.1 Methodological component of the application of the visibility principle
Modern didactics pays great attention to organizing the vigorous activity of the students themselves in acquiring new knowledge and developing skills, managing the educational process, stimulating the activity of students, involving students in planning their educational activities, its self-organization, self-control, that is, self-regulation of learning. The idea is expressed that the educational process itself is impossible without the active activity of students as subjects of learning. With such a formulation of the question, the role of the teacher as the organizer of the educational process increases. / 13 /
The essence of the methodological component of the learning content is that in the process of learning the teacher not only explains the new material and organizes its correct processing, but also offers his students certain algorithms for completing tasks, teaches them the basic techniques of independent work, and, if necessary, provides them with reminders on rational performance of certain tasks or types of work. / 7 /
The methodological component is teaching students rational methods of teaching, learning a new language for them and developing the skills to use it in practice for the purpose of communication. This component, like others, involves the use of visual methods for the development of foreign language speech skills.
So, the allocation of this component was undertaken because without equipping students with rational methods of teaching, without developing their ability to use the means of learning a foreign language, a textbook, a grammar guide, a dictionary, and a tape recorder, and without cultivating a culture of mental work, as well as a clear planning of an independent systematic work, it is not possible to master a foreign language.
It follows from the foregoing that without the application of the principle of visibility, the educational process cannot be very effective. So, with the help of the principle of visualization, it is possible to stimulate students to learning activities, or, for example, in order to teach children to understand English speech, it is necessary to listen to it more, and this cannot be done without sound visualization . / 15 /
