1.3.Psychological and pedagogical component of the application of the principle of visibility in the process of teaching a foreign language
Determining the content of teaching a foreign language is impossible without referring to psychology - the science of the patterns of mental reflection of reality in the mind of a person, which studies mental properties, mental activity and the state of the individual, depending on the conditions in which they manifest themselves. Psycholinguists study the speech behavior of a person, describe models of mental processes, operations of actions that occur when listening and speaking. They make attempts to establish which language units and in what sequence they take part in speaking and listening to sentences, they try to identify the similarities and differences between linguistic grammar and the one that is formed in humans, to establish in what order the language system is acquired, how it functions. 12/
Speech action acts as an object of learning in the activity approach and in communicative orientation. In psychology, speech action is defined as the process of interaction of its components (participants in communication; communicative intention or goal; subject content: topics, situations; linguistic means) aimed at generating statements in a specific communication situation.
Thus, dialogues, conversations, texts, any oral and written speech products materialize only as a result of speech actions. Speech actions, however, are possible when the possession of language and speech material at each point of the educational process is brought to the level of skills and abilities.
How is the principle of visibility related to the psychology of learning?
When memorizing any constructions, speech samples, one cannot do without linguistic clarity (tables, diagrams, cards), this is especially effective if the student himself makes a table or diagram.
So, psychology allows us to determine the third component of the content of teaching a foreign language at school. / 20 /
