THE MAIN DIRECTIONS AND AREAS OF INFORMATION

Annotation
. This study examines, classifies and analyzes research related to new technologies in higher education with the 
aim of providing a systematic overview of the existing literature. 
Mixed research methods were used to analyze 7 highly cited studies that met the selected criteria. The results obtained show 
that all the technologies studied were aimed at improving and transforming various educational strategies. Each platform studied was 
analyzed, its key objectives were identified, advantages and disadvantages were investigated.

Introduction 
Numerous studies report the current use and adoption of e-learning technologies and systems. 
Teachers in all areas of higher education have a particular interest in technology supported learning environment 
because it provides new learning opportunities. 
Blended teaching methods (classical and IT- assisted teaching) allow new teaching principles to be tested and 
innovative approaches to be integrated. [7] There are many technologically supported learning methods like e-learning, 
which a lot of universities use. It was determined that current trends in educational technology research focuses on the 
use of ICT in educational and training applications [2] which is especially important in a pandemic. Let’s consider the 
software offered by the modern market.
