PECULIARITIES OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN THE CONDITION OF
UZBEKISTAN

There is a need to analyze the phenomenon
of tourism as a category of
intersectoral research in determining the priority directions of tourism development in
our country.More precisely, by examining the particular features of this phenomenon,
it is necessary to characterize its types and forms, and to identify many of the functions
it performs.This, in turn, will help identify the tourism development priorities relevant
to the tourism potential of a particular region (including Uzbekistan).1.
In order to analyze the category of modern tourism from a philosophical
perspective in terms of the
objectives of this research, it is necessary to highlight the
following aspects of the phenomenon:
first of all, tourism is a socio-cultural activity aimed at meaningful
social and
cultural leisure;
secondly, philosophically, it is a form of social and cultural communication;
thirdly, tourism is an industry that produces the services needed to meet the
needs of travelers, and communication is one of its essential components.
Tourism as a socio-cultural phenomenon has many functions. The most
important functions of tourism are:
wellness, development,
social status, social
integration and cultural identity.
O f course, the socio-economic function of tourism cannot be ignored.
The fact
is that tourism is one of the largest and most dynamic sectors. According to the World
Tourism Organization, tourism provides only 10% of the manufacturing and service
market.And the profit from this means that it is only
