After all, to draw people's attention to current social problems, the advertising 
product that is being prepared to guide them in the right direction is required to have a 
powerful impact on the hearts.Putting political goals behind social problems is one of 
the most difficult tasks.
If we look at the history of political advertising, it first appeared in the era of 
slavery democracy in Ancient Greece.In those days, people were openly elected to 
positions of responsibility in public assemblies.At the same time, political advertising 
was carried out mainly by the plaintiffs and their supporters, orally, advertising the 
wealth, lineage, speech, and intellect of the candidates, thereby influencing public 
opinion.In ancient Rome, written advertising slogans and appeals were used. In ancient 
times, statues of rulers, generals, and famous citizens served as socio-political 
advertisements, and these statues were decorated with inscriptions praising the power 
and glory of a man or his policies.
Ancient “graffitis”25also played a social-political advertising role. Therefore, 
the role of scribes in the conduct of the election campaign was strong. Most of the 
graffiti found by archaeologists in Pompeii was related to the pre-election struggle of 
Roman politicians.!: is worth noting the following: “Please choose Modest as Edil

It is noteworthy that in ancient times, anti-propaganda methods were also used 
in political struggle.In Pompey, for example, the walls of the house where Pinarius 
Tserial, the priest of Hercules, lived, are covered with humorous paintings.In doing so, 
the artists depicted the naturally large nose of the Series in a very awkward shape. Or 
in one of the streets of Pompey,"on behalf of all the sleepers and drunkards, it is
