In a world riddled with obstacles to our social and spiritual development we find ourselves caught up in a web of political, emotional and financial struggles. Our mission as WERISE Productions is to provide a venue for the artistic expression of women. Moreover, it is our intention to maintain truth and integrity in everything that we do, as well as to constantly shift conservative and traditional paradigms and to deconstruct the ever-dominant patriarchy in our industry.
The given examples testify to the great variety of linguistic representation of the concept.
The concept can be realized in communicative activity not only by verbal, but also by non-verbal units: “In culture, not only words, but also material objects can carry a spiritual meaning; there is no sharp impassable boundary between spiritual and material culture...
Concepts can "hover" above conceptualized areas, being expressed both in a word and in an image or a material object. This provision is especially relevant for the concept of "ideology".
Ideology enters the human mind not only verbally, but also through specific ideological symbols that objectify abstract ideological values and ideals.
Such symbols can be a political and geographical map in various modifications, a cross, a banner (for example, Old Glory in the USA), a star, a coat of arms, a swastika, drawings, photographs, architectural monuments, and more. others
Non-verbal means of representing concepts in general and the concept of "ideology" in particular include gestures, facial expressions, gaze, keeping a distance, which can, for example, express ethnic and other prejudices.
According to V.G. Zusman , in a communication situation, hybrid verbal-non-verbal and non- verbal -verbal representatives of a particular concept most often appear .
So, summarizing the above, it is necessary to note the following:
The concept as an ideal entity that is formed in the mind of a person is studied in linguistics through the means of language, which provide "visible" access to the unobservable structures of human knowledge.
Considering the concept in the linguoculturological aspect, scientists bring under this term only the key concepts for a given community of people, “the main cells of culture in the mental world of a person” (Stepanov, 2001(a)), characterized by a wealth of both linguistic and non-verbal means of their objectification and high level of detail in the language. Thus, three "dimensions" of the concept are emphasized: mental, cultural and linguistic. Ideology, "an irremovable and unconditional component of culture", is considered in this study as an " affiliation" of the American linguistic consciousness, i.e. as a linguocultural concept.
