Annotation
—The article concerns the role of the virtualeducational 
environment as one of the valuable factors on facilitating productive and receptive 
language skills of non-linguistic speciality students. The paper considers main 
features of the effectiveness ofobtaining English through the usage of Internet-
basededucational platforms. The significance of the formation of foreignlanguage 
professional communicative competence in the processof virtual learning is analyzed.
