driveway entrances to parking garages.

Terminal Heating Equipment
Terminal heating equipment is equipment installed in or contiguous
with the area served. In general, the heating source is remote—water
or steam is used—but electric resistance heating is common. Duct
heaters and some heat pumps can also be included in this category.
In many cases, the terminal equipment is used for both heating and
cooling (see Chap. 11).
