used mostly for ‘‘spot heating’’ at workstations in otherwise unheated
or poorly heated buildings. They are also used for heating outdoor
areas where people need to wait or stand in line, such as under theater
marquees or in amusement parks. Radiant heating is a very efficient
and economical method of achieving a level of comfort in an area
