tapped Chewy Inc. co-founder
Ryan Cohen to lead a commit-
tee dedicated to transforming
the retailer.
The
move
comes
as
GameStop faces pressure to de-
liver results that measure up to
its recently inflated share price
that was driven up by online
trading mobs.
GameStop said Monday that
the new Strategic Planning and
Capital Allocation Committee
will be led by Mr. Cohen, who
last year bought a large stake
in GameStop and began push-
ing the company to revamp its
business model. He is joined on
the new committee by Alan At-
tal, Chewy’s former top opera-
tions executive, and Kurt Wolf,
an executive at investment firm
Hestia Capital Management
LLC who also has been agitat-
ing for change at GameStop.

resources companies.
Deliveroo plans to issue
dual-class shares that would
keep founder and Chief Execu-
tive Will Shu in control for
three years. That paves the
way for Deliveroo’s shares to
qualify for inclusion in the
London Stock Exchange’s blue-
chip FTSE indexes following
the expected approval later
this year of new rules.
Deliveroo and other food-
delivery companies in Europe
and the U.S. are experiencing a
surge in business as home-
bound consumers, tired of pre-
paring home-cooked meals, or-
der in. Last year, Deliveroo’s
net revenue surged 54% to
£1.2 billion, equivalent to
around $1.7 billion. Mean-
while, the company’s loss nar-
rowed to £223.7 million from
£317.3 million.
The company is betting on
that revenue growth generat-
ing market interest in the of-
fering following strong inves-
tor demand for DoorDash’s
IPO late last year. Ahead of
