I found Tom quite amusing.
He always exaggerates to make his stories more amusing. Shy [Adjective] (being reserved, nervous and embarrassed). She was too shy to look him in the face.

He is quite reserved when he is with strangers. I found Tom very reserved.
Introverted [Adjective] (someone who is a little quiet and shy and find it difficult to talk to other people).
She is described as an introverted teenager, with a love of horses. Her teachers perceived her as shy and introverted.
