Employment History

2019- PSI Lesotho. Counsellor
Currently working at Psi Lesotho as a Counsellor under the CID-LINK Project, where the main focus is to provide HIV testing and counselling services, identify HIV/AIDS Positive clients, and link them with the facilities where they will be provided with Antiretroviral treatment . Additionally the focus is also on client Indexing, where after identifying a positive client we track their sexual partners as well as their children under the age of 15 to offer them HIV testing and counselling services so as to link them with appropriate facilities for ART treatment.
2017- Master of the High Court Maseru Social Worker
I was offered an internship at the Lesotho Master of the High Court as a Social Worker, under the supervision of a Social Worker as well as Lawyers. The main focus was to administer parental property and to protect children from being exploited of their parental property. My tasks were to offer children counselling after the death of their parents and to make sure that after the death of their parents they are taken good care of by their guardian. I also did home visits to assess their living situation and linked them with appropriate resources in case of destitution.

2016- Flight One Lesotho Mounted Police Station Mazenod: Child and Gender Protection Unit Social Worker
I was offered an internship at the Flight One Lesotho Mounted Police Station under the department of Child and Gender Protection Unit as a Social Worker. I worked under the supervision of Police Social Worker as well as Police officers. I offered counselling services to abused women and children, our main focus was to get them to a better place and take them out of the abusive situations they lived in and justice is served to their culprits.

2015- Paki Health Centre Mazenod HIV/AIDS testing Counsellor
I was offered an internship at Paki Health Centre as the HIV/AIDS testing counsellor under the supervision of Social workers and HTC counsellors. My task involved HIV testing and counselling, offering counselling services, giving health talks as well as adherence counselling on both TB and HIV patients. Counselling services I offered involved group counselling as well as individual counselling.
