Disadvantages of online learning
There are many disadvantages, too, while has advantages of online learning. In Uzbekistan’s 
some territory internet connection is not good. For those who do not have a reliable source of electric-
ity or don’t have reliable internet, it can be very difficult to participate in lessons. Sometimes in the 
countries has not got electricity and your telephone’s or lap top’s battery is run out of charge. Again 
besides electric problem, in smaller cities and towns, a consistent connection with decent speed is 
a problem. Without a consistent internet connection for students or teachers, there can be a lack of 
continuity in learning for the students. This is detrimental to the education process. And you may 
miss your lessons which is need in the future for you and your field. Sometimes students who do not 
want to participate in lectures of universities, they do not enter to the lesson and they make an excuse 
of internet or battery. So they can not learn some information which they need.

There have got lots of disadvantages, one of them is that sometimes, teachers do not even have 
necessary resources and tools to conduct online class. As a result, they can not organize a lesson and 
their students do not have information about necessary subjects and they will be ignorant. It is very 
bad condition in our developing world. 
The lack of face to face communication ties together with many of the previously mentioned 
drawbacks of online education. A lack of any kind of face-to-face communication causes students to 
abandon their studies more easily.
Today, India is one of the major players in the world of online education, but despite it, there is 
a large gap in computer literacy in the population. Until such gaps in society exist, online learning 
will not be able to reach all citizens. Based on this discussion we can say that it is a big problem of 
online learners.
Online education includes assessment, just like in a regular classroom setting. However, there are 
no teachers or proctors to watch over you during exams. Taking this opportunity many students copy 
their exam answers from internet or another tools. And, it is easy for online students to share answers 
each others knowing there is nobody watching.
If we count e-learning’s disadvantages, there are a lot of bad conditions and inconvenience.
In conclusion, the content of this essay has pointed out both negative and positive sides. Base 
on the details have given, we know that online learning is perceived as beneficial by many people 
while others find it to be less effective. Based on this consideration we can say that the advantages 
and disadvantages of the online distance learning is unavoidable. In summary the advantages include 
convenience, comfort and effectiveness while the disadvantages include human health, lack of human 
empathy and high cost. From my point of view, online education can be advantageous regarding a 
flexible timing, lower tuition. However, virtual learning also shows its downside, which related to 
student conditions and the loss of quality control of courses.
