Algorithm for calculating circuits by the method of loop currents

1. Define all independent contours.

2. We arbitrarily set the direction of flow of the loop currents in each of the independent loops (clockwise or counterclockwise). Designate these currents. For numbering loop currents, Arabic double digits (I11, I22, I33, etc.) are usually used.

3. According to the second Kirchhoff's law, with respect to loop currents, we compose equations for all independent loops. When writing equality, consider that the direction of the loop bypass for which the equation is drawn up coincides with the direction of the loop current of this loop.
